Who is a user?

A user is a person or entity using the application, with their own account created in one of two ways:

• registering in the system and creating a new organization, or
• joining the system via invitation and joining an existing organization.

Each user logs into the application with the appropriate access level, which defines what data and features they have access to. These depend on the assigned role in the system, which is discussed in more detail in the next section: What are the user roles?.
