Automatic adding of posting periods

posting periods can be calculated automatically:

as part of the automatic delegation calculation based on work start and end times, or
using the Create posting periods function.

When posting periods are created automatically, the following factors are considered in order:

border crossings
start / end of work.

Adding posting periods based on automatic delegation calculation

If you calculate delegations based on work start and end times, the system will automatically detect posting periods using these markers. Posting periods will be assigned to the appropriate countries and automatically receive their calculated duration.

`Create posting periods` functionality

The Create posting periods function is unavailable?

To use this feature, you must first create a foreign delegation — for example, by manually adding a delegation.

Go to the Activities tab and choose a view: Month, 7-day, or Day.
Hover over the delegation on the activity timeline for which you want to detect posting periods and open the context menu (e.g., by right-clicking).
Select the Create posting periods option.
The posting periods will be detected. To confirm the changes, click Save changes.
