What is a driver profile and what is an individual profile?

Driver profile

The driver profile includes personal, contact, address data, as well as documents. By using an account with the manager, administrator, or owner role, we can find these details by accessing the selected driver’s profile.

On the other hand, when using an account with the driver role, the driver profile can be found by selecting My driver data, and then staying in the Driver data tab.

Individual profile

The individual profile, on the other hand, applies to users who have been added through an invitation to the organization. It includes personal, contact, and address data.

For accounts with the manager, administrator, or owner roles, the individual profile can be found by selecting Users in the sidebar menu, and then going to the details of the driver we’re interested in.

On the other hand, for accounts with the driver role, the individual profile can be found by opening the User menu and then clicking Profile.

Impact of linking on the driver profile and individual profile data

Despite the linking of the user’s account with the driver, the data in the driver profile and the individual profile are independent of each other.

This means that editing one set of data does not affect the other. Moreover, only the administrator can edit the data in the driver profile, while a user with the driver role, even if linked, does not have such permissions.

On the other hand, the administrator cannot edit certain data related to the user’s individual profile, such as the email address.
